2 Samuel 22-24; Proverbs 16:12-21

Thursday's Bible Reading: 2 Samuel 22-24; Proverbs 16:12-21

Having just returned from Southern California, where we met several Christians involved in the motion picture industry, I was particularly sad to hear the commentary by fellow Christian David Kuo concerning the death of Jerry Falwell. Kuo began his column with this paragraph:

Yesterday a friend from Los Angeles called. The person is successful, known, part of the entertainment industry. "Jerry Falwell is," my friend said "the reason I can't call myself a Christian in Hollywood. He is what everyone thinks about when they hear the word, 'Christian.'"

You can read the rest of the interview at "Blurring the Church-State Line: Falwell's Flaw."
